The plain-English rules for using Margo OS: how membership and billing work, who owns what, and what we each promise. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
These terms are an agreement between you and Margo Labs (“we”) for using Margo OS, its website, the Directory, and our free tools (together, “Margo”). By creating an account or using Margo, you agree to them. If you use Margo for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're authorized to. You must be at least 18.
Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and tell us at paigeatmargolabs@gmail.com if you think your account has been compromised.
Free trial. New members can start a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership converts automatically and your card is charged the rate shown at checkout. We'll email you before the trial ends. One free trial per member.
Subscription. Membership is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. We'll email you before each renewal. Prices don't include taxes, which may be added where required.
Founding rate. Your monthly rate locks when your first payment succeeds and stays the same while you remain a member. If you cancel and rejoin within 12 months, we'll honor your locked rate.
AI usage. Each membership includes a monthly AI usage allowance. If you reach it, you can buy prepaid credit packs. Unused pack credit rolls over while your membership is active. Features that need AI may pause until your allowance resets or you add credit.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, access to Margo pauses until the payment succeeds. We'll email you and retry the charge. If we can't collect payment, your membership ends.
Cancelling. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds. New members can get a full refund of their first payment within 30 days of it by emailing paigeatmargolabs@gmail.com. After that, payments aren't refundable, including partial months, except where the law requires.
Changes to pricing. We may change our prices for new members at any time. We won't change a locked rate while you stay a member. If we ever change what your membership costs for another reason (for example, taxes), we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance.
You own what you put into Margo (your answers, documents, brand inputs, and work) and what Margo produces for you. You give us permission to host, process, and transmit that content only as needed to run Margo for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
Margo uses AI to draft and suggest. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content produced for others, and it isn't professional (legal, financial, tax, or other) advice. You're responsible for reviewing output before you use or publish it, and for what you publish.

Listings and reviews in the Directory are public. Reviews must reflect genuine experience with the vendor. Listings can't be bought, and we may moderate, edit, or remove listings and reviews that break these terms.
Vendors are independent businesses, not part of Margo. When you buy a vendor's offer, the sale is between you and the vendor, and payment is processed by Stripe. You pay the listed price; Margo keeps a 1% platform fee, and card processing fees come out of the vendor's proceeds. Questions about the work itself go to the vendor. Vendors receiving payouts must also agree to Stripe's terms.
When you connect a third-party service (like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Stripe, Beehiiv, or Slack), your use of it is governed by that service's terms. We're not responsible for third-party services, and integrations may change if those services change.
Margo itself (the software, design, frameworks, and content we create) belongs to Margo Labs. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your account is in good standing. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
You can stop using Margo and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms or don't pay. If we end your account for reasons other than a breach, we'll refund any prepaid amount for the time remaining. What happens to your data afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.
We work hard to keep Margo reliable and useful, but it's provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee any particular business result.
To the extent the law allows, Margo Labs won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Margo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you published, your use of Margo in breach of these terms, or your violation of the law, you'll cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Margo Labs is organized and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us at paigeatmargolabs@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
We may update these terms as Margo evolves. If a change is material, we'll update the date above and email members at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Margo after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: paigeatmargolabs@gmail.com.
